Job Description

The Opportunity: 2 Permanent FullTime 1 Contract up to 12 Months

Reporting directly to the Coordinator Corporate Facilities this role is responsible primarily for maintaining the Corporate Facilities buildings and grounds of Town Hall Caledon Provincial Police Detachment and Fire Administration. You will assist with the daily maintenance repair cleanliness and safety of the Civic Campus Corporate Facilities. You will be responsible for performing regular inspections handling facility repairs and managing snow clearing duties to ensure safe workspaces. As the Associate Facility Operations you will perform the following duties including but not limited to:

  • Perform daily inspection maintenance and recordkeeping for Civic Campus Corporate Facilities.
  • Handle system furniture building and modifications including workstation accessories installation.
  • Clear snow and maintain safe workspaces.
  • Oversee the contract cleaners of the facilities.
  • Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented professional with a high school diploma or closely related field. Our ideal candidate has 23 years of related experience in a municipal or government setting with strong mechanical and facility skills.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in plumbing HVAC electrical safety security systems and building automation systems. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

The successful candidate for Associate Facility Operations will be required to work a flexible schedule including in the office remotely and after hours (as required).

The Permanent FullTime position offers an annual salary range of $69654.64 to $87068.30 plus a competitive benefits package.

The Contract (up to 12 months) position offers an hourly salary range of $33.48to$41.85 plus a competitive benefits package.

Satisfactory passing of a criminal record check and proof of qualifications will be required of any successful candidate(s) for this position.
