Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Territory Manager responsible for strategic account management maintenance field supervision and serving as a single point of accountability for all customers within an assigned geography. In addition this position will manage coordination with construction personnel during the opening of a Class A commercial building.

On a typical day you will:

  • Lead account management and service operations for a single strategic client across a campus of buildings in Midtown Manhattan
  • Build and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships achieve or exceed sales objectives and serve as technical consultant to customers in the assigned territory
  • Retain and resign current maintenance agreements associated with the strategic account
  • Lead the performance of field operations for all service/maintenance projects ensuring all monthly reliability and availability metrics are met
  • Perform field safety audits jobsite inspections and develop site safety/logistics plans
  • Manage successful transition of new installations to service/maintenance contracts
  • Proactively monitor and manage site parts inventory

What you will need to be successful

  • 5 years outside sales experience or field management experience within the elevator industry preferred
  • Additional experience working with general or mechanical contractors considered a plus
  • Availability to manage and supervisor field crews that conduct maintenance overnight and on weekends
  • Familiarity and comfort with managing financial performance balancing proposal generation and operational costs to find mutual success for Otis and our customers
  • Ability to work in a highly teamoriented and dynamic environment
  • Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
  • Need to be selfmotivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
  • Detail oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver upon specific KPIs and service level agreements
  • Strong leadership skills goalorientated and selfmotivated with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Bachelors degree or PMP or Project Management Credentials Preferred
