The Industrial Power Systems Division currently has an opening for a Human Resources Operations Specialist / HR Representative located in Seguin Texas. The large engine business is a global organization with approximately 2500 employees around the world. Its footprint spans through south central Texas and India. Our business is an industry leader in the manufacturing of diesel power and we are responsible for building the 7.2 18L engines and power gensets. Our products dont just go into other Caterpillar machines; we provide these services to a vast external market worldwide.
The Human Resources Operations Specialist will support the production workforce of approximately 1200 employees and leadership at the Seguin TX facility. Provides direction in the areas of staffing employee development employee relations training employee engagement and performance management.

What you will have:
Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying evaluating introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
Information Capture: Knowledge of the methods channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify capture and document relevant business information in an auditable organized understandable and easily retrievable manner.
Service Excellence: Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decisionmaking process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
HR: Policies Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organizations and industrys standards procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches tools and techniques; ability to inform guide and advise managers in HRrelated initiatives.
Human Resources Operations: Knowledge of human resources (HR) policies operational processes and considerations; ability to implement HR related tasks processes and projects to ensure that daytoday operations run smoothly.

Summary Pay Range:
$79800.00 $119760.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
