Job Description
The Production Assistant is responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcasts. This is a temporary position. Great for opportunity for college students looking for on the job experience.
- Edit video for newscasts
- Attach video to placeholders
- Work closely with producers
- Build graphics for newscasts
- Occasionally post news stories and videos online
- Run teleprompter for newscasts
- Time newscasts
- Communicate with news talent
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficiency with computers telephones copiers scanners fax machines and other office equipment.
- Ability to meet deadlines prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
