Primary Purpose:
To assist in preparing the instructional computing environment for the upcoming academic year.
Salary: $10.25/hour
Qualifications:
16 years of age and above
Special Knowledge / Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to accurately count inventory edit and pull orders.
Ability to operate a computer.
Ability to move assemble and replace parts on computer carts.
Ability to move large number of computer/Chromebook devices.
Ability to lift 25 pounds plus.
Experience:
None
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Deliver computers and equipment to designated locations.
2. Unpackage label and inventory computers/Chromebooks.
3. Test and verify working condition of computers/Chromebooks
4. Assemble charging stations/carts.
5. Test and repair charging stations/carts
6. Perform physical inventory of warehouse stock items.
7. Load District vehicles; deliver supplies and equipment to campuses and departments.
8. Pickup equipment to be dispositioned and deliver to a central location.
9. Maintain safe working conditions throughout department/warehouse area.
10. Receive and take responsibility for supplies and equipment; compare actual quantities versus packing slip quantities; note damage and variances.
11. Unload and load delivery trucks by hand or using pallet jack.
12. Use tools including batterypowered tools.
13. Follow established safety and procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting climbing etc.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used:
Computer ladder dolly pallet jack box knife hand tools (small).
Mental Demands/ Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Frequent walking standing climbing and lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside on slippery or uneven walking surfaces and ladders. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
