Job Description

School Year

Position: Band / Flags

Location: Strongsville High School

Flag Instructor

Conduct Color Guard Clinics and Tryouts April/May
Instruct Color Guard in basic movement and techniques
Write & Teach routines for football games parades and other performances as necessary
Rehearse at least once or twice a week outside normal band rehearsals which are Tuesday 35 pm & Thursday 69 PM
Hold Flag Camp before Band Camp in summer

Requirements The following certifications are required prior to the start of coaching

Pupil Activity Permit
Coaches Toolchest Coaching Certificate
Clear BCI/FBI Background check
