Job Description

Regional Director

The Senior Director Portfolio Management is responsible for managing a team of approximately 1720 Portfolio Managers and support Wealth Management. Partners with the Managing Director on strategic management issues this leader will develop the direction of their team and will be responsible for the teams tactical direction and results. They will contribute to the success of overall client management by leading the partnership with Wealth Management and Office of CIO that will ensure a seamless client experience.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Guide a team to maintain energy and engagement as the business model continues to evolve Hire coach and motivate a team of Portfolio Managers to exceed client expectations through client interactions and management of client portfolios while meeting compliance standards
  • Ensure adherence to Trust Company policies and procedures as mandated by the OCC internal audit and the OIC and OIOCC Ability to meet financial and business targets outlined in the Private Asset Management scorecard ensure achievement of distinctive and consistent client experience
  • Anticipate trends that impact relationships and retention and recommend corrective measures to better position the PM for delivery of optimal . Drive efficiency and quality improvements in processes and systems to positively impact bottomline and/or client service.
  • As needed assist Portfolio Managers in reviewing and planning client cases by relying on their investment acumen related to global and national economies and markets. Involved in budget decisions for Team.
  • Understands and communicates regulatory impacts for projects initiatives and ongoing routines from both the OCC and FINRA perspective.
  • Responsible for compensation and performance decisions for the team building an effective team committed to organizational goals and fostering collaboration among team members and among teams.
  • Take the lead on assigned projects and work with a team to execute completion on time.
  • In managing the daytoday business of Private Asset Management develop and maintain communication and partnership with business partners peers and leadership across Wealth Management and CIO office.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5 Years Required; 7 Years Preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of client relationship experience in portfolio management and financial planning for highnetworth clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 years of client relationship experience in portfolio management and financial planning for highnetworth clients
  • 3 years experience managing centralized and fieldbased teams
  • Bachelors degree in business or finance; MBA
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certifications
  • Excellent communication relationship building and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Mid West/West territory

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $172500/yr. $241000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience time in role base salary of internal peers prior performance business sector and geographic location. In addition to base salary the competitive compensation package may include depending on the role participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example annual discretionary incentive programs nonannual sales incentive plans or other nonannual incentive plans).
