The Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic businessminded experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide financial leadership and oversight across our three divisions: Engineering and Test Technical Services and Mission Systems. Reporting directly to the CEO you will be a key partner in driving our financial strategy managing risk and ensuring robust financial control. Your Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies drive forecasting and budgeting and provide insightful financial analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Comprehensive Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial reporting capital management and cash flow management ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Assess and mitigate financial risks ensure compliance with government contracting (DCAA) and commercial regulations and manage insurance policies.
- ERP Implementation & System Optimization: Lead the implementation of a new Deltek Costpoint system in collaboration with IT.
- Government & Commercial Accounting Expertise: Manage both government and commercial accounting including DCAA audits.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors banks and external auditors.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead mentor and develop the finance and accounting team and provide financial education to managers.
- Tax Planning & Compliance: Oversee tax planning and ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience as a CFO Finance Officer or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
- CPA certification required.
- Strong understanding and experience with government accounting including DCAA regulations.
- Expertise in data analysis forecasting and strategic problemsolving.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Exceptional leadership organizational and communication skills.
