Job Description

The Summer Math Support Coordinator will work with teachers and paraprofessionals in the summer learning program to support their work with students and all aspects of program implementation.

Session: July 7 July 31 2025 (Monday through Thursday) 8:30 AM 12:30 PM

Performance Responsibilities include:

  • Prior to program launch
    • Forming student groups using assessment information
    • Communicating with staff about groups
    • Coordinating materials/supplies needed by teachers and students
  • Guiding teachers and paraprofessionals in implementing highleverage evidencebased instructional strategies to ensure students progress.
  • Conducting observations and providing feedback to teachers and paras over Zoom Video Conferencing.
  • Providing technology support in the use of Investigations online resources DreamBox and applications to facilitate online engagement with math (i.e. Jamboard).
  • Monitoring and analyzing the assessment of student progress.
  • Overseeing the accurate and complete records of student attendance and progress.
  • Working collaboratively with the Department Head and Summer Administrator in supporting this program.
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the Summer Administrator.

Compensation:

Teachers hourly rate capping at M8

6 hours prep before 6/30/25 (no exceptions)

25 hours for the summer
