Qualifications for Position:
- Candidate must have completed the following courses: PHYwith a B average or better.
- Candidate must have demonstrated laboratory skills in all physics courses.
- Candidate must have taken a course in computer programming
- Candidate must be willing to work 40 hours/week for a 10week period.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities:
- Candidate must be capable of learning and operating vacuum deposition equipment lowtemperature equipment and data analysis techniques.
- Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for periods up to 1 hour.
- Other skills that will be necessary to learn are soldering and LabVIEW programming.
- Candidate must be willing to also make a presentation at a regional physics conference in the following fall.
