Job Description

Function:To carry out the aims and objectives of the program as outlined by the Athletic Director. To instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals strategy and physical training necessary to realize individual and team success.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Supervises athletes and the team assigned to her/him and assumes supervising control over all athletes in the program when such control is scheduling and providing transportation to tournaments and special prepare to hold scheduled sports events or practices and adhere to expected documentation to the Athletic Director to fulfill state and system requirements concerning physical examinations parental consent and proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and training rules and any other unique sports regulations to each athlete considered a be present at all practices and games and while traveling provide assistance guidance and safeguards for each student managers and discipline and delineates procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary. Contacts parents when a student is dropped or becomes to the Director of Athletics & Activities and/or Building PrincipalRequired Qualifications: Teaching certificate and experience coaching experience in assigned sports is knowledge and background in the assigned taken a course or workshop or has proof of competency in first a certificate or completion of a class in qualifications are equal and preference will be given to current faculty members.
