Prover Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Witness 3rd party prover.

• Use company mobile and stationary prover.

• Shakeout oil.

• Maintain schedule and daily completion reports.

• Communicate with customers for scheduling witness.

• Communicate with operators regarding meter issues rates pot pulls etc.

• Generate custody transfer tickets.

• Responsible for meter accuracy.

Education

• High School diploma or G.E.D.

Work Experience

• 5 years of I&E skills API measurement and lease operations experience is preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Strong computer (MS Excel MS Word Outlook Internet) and communication skills.

• Experience with General API measurement practices and theory.

• Knowledge of provers meters and flow computers.

• Must be able to work efficiently and safely.

• Must be able to initiate communication and have excellent communication skills.

• Able to troubleshoot meter and prover issues.

• PROVEiT software experience with Pa plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Must possess a valid drivers license and an excellent driving record.

Strength Factor Rating Physical Demands/Requirements

• Medium Work Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
