Applicants must have familiarity with multilayered systems of support experience and skill differentiating academic curriculum ability to collaborate with classroom teachers and paraeducator staff proficiency in teaching specialized literacy and math curriculum competence in using technology to facilitate student communication/learning expertise in data collection and formative assessment and experience implementing positive behavior intervention plans. Knowledge of Vermont special education regulations compliance procedures traumainformed practices and disability characteristics is essential. Applicants must be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Vermont AOE as a Special Education Teacher Consulting Teacher or Intensive Special Education Teacher. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proficiency in the Google platform. This position follows the WSESU school calendar.
