Job Description

Overview
The role of a PrePrimary Teacher is of utmost importance in shaping the foundational years of children aged 3 to 6. This pivotal position is responsible for nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning through engaging ageappropriate activities. The PrePrimary Teacher plays a critical role in the overall development of a child including cognitive social emotional and physical aspects. By creating a warm and inclusive classroom environment the PrePrimary Teacher helps children explore their creativity while enhancing their communication and interpersonal skills. The teacher also acts as a crucial link between the school and parents ensuring that families are involved in their childs early development journey. This role requires a deep commitment to educating and caring for children making it essential for the overall objectives of educational institutions focused on early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to preprimary learning.
  • Create a positive safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Incorporate various learning styles to accommodate diverse needs.
  • Assess students developmental progress and address individual learning needs.
  • Encourage playbased learning and creativity in classroom activities.
  • Facilitate interactive and educational games to promote teamwork.
  • Evaluate and adapt teaching strategies based on classroom dynamics.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childs progress.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean organized classroom environment.
  • Each day begins with setting up the classroom and preparing materials.
  • Promote social skills and conflict resolution among young children.
  • Organize school events and activities that involve parents and families.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance teaching methods.
  • Incorporate technology where appropriate to enhance learning.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through art and storytelling.
  • Keep detailed records of childrens progress and activities.
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Certification in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a preprimary teaching role.
  • Strong understanding of child development theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create interactive and ageappropriate educational materials.
  • Proficiency in classroom management techniques.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience with different teaching methodologies.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Familiarity with integrating technology into early childhood education.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness of diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with young children.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changes quickly.
