Job Description
Overview
The TGT Maths Teacher plays a critical role in shaping students understanding of mathematical concepts and fostering a love for learning. This position involves teaching mathematics to students in grades 6 to 8 ensuring they develop the necessary skills and confidence to handle complex problems and logical reasoning. A successful Maths Teacher must create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking. By utilizing various teaching methodologies and technologies the teacher will cater to diverse learning styles ensuring all students grasp essential mathematical principles. Additionally this role encompasses planning and developing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with educational standards. The teachers influence extends beyond the classroom as they serve as a mentor guiding students towards academic success and personal growth in the field of mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons that meet curriculum standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics or Education with a focus on Mathematics.
- Teaching certification or license for middle school education.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and pedagogy.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive learning environment for all students.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
