About the Role
As an Art Teacher your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Art and Design across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with the potential to teach ALevel content.
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across various media such as drawing painting printmaking and digital art.
Inspiring students to think critically foster creativity and develop their own artistic style.
Providing constructive feedback and support to ensure student progress and achievement.
Contributing to the broader life of the department including running art clubs organizing exhibitions and providing additional enrichment opportunities.
Collaborating with colleagues to continually enhance the curriculum and share effective teaching strategies.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced Art Teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Have a proven track record of teaching Art at Key Stage 3 4 and 5 with experience delivering ALevel content.
Are passionate about art education with strong subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach.
Can engage and challenge students of all abilities while maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour.
Are committed to being a collaborative team player and contributing to the schools wider culture of excellence.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to their own personal and professional development.
