Job Description

Position : Accounting Administrator

Working Hours : MondayFriday; 8 hrs between 7AM 6PM AZ Time

Salary Range : USD/month

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Accountant Administrator to provide essential accounting and administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daytoday administrative operations related to accounting such as organizing files managing documents and maintaining records
  • Assist with project management
  • Organize and maintain financial records and reports
  • Provide backup support for bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
  • Assist with reconciliations of accounts journal entries posting transactions and updating automation rules within QuickBooks Online as needed
  • Help with creation of visual reports and diagrams for client base
  • Assist the accounting team meet internal deadlines and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Use Gusto Payroll and other payroll programs to assist with payroll tasks
  • Manage and update files and documents ensuring everything is organized and uptodate
  • Pull clientuploaded documents off of portal label them according to the coding process and store them in the appropriate client files
  • Upload client documents to client portal as requested
  • Prepare and send forms for new clients to electronically sign
  • Pull monthly business bank loan and credit card statements throughout the month for our client base
  • Assist with technology implementation updates and changes
  • Assist with certain incoming client emails (fluent in English both verbal and written)
  • Handle various projects as they arise such as updating software client files and creating Google Sheets

Qualifications:

  • 35 years experience in accounting or a similar administrative support role with strong knowledge of general accounting principles
  • Handson experience with posting reconciliations and journal entries
  • Understanding of general accounting principles
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Familiar navigating Gusto Payroll Google Sheets and Dropbox
  • Reliable computer and fast internet connection required with the ability to call a USA phone number
  • Exceptional communicator with a preference for overcommunication
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and accurately
  • Unimpeachable character with a high level of integrity and honesty
  • Eagerness to learn and grow both personally and professionally
  • Techsavvy and comfortable navigating new software and apps
  • Highly organized and detailoriented
  • Excellent English grammar both written and verbal
  • Personable with the ability to easily connect with others
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team supporting backend accounting functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting or commensurate work experience
  • Previous experience working in a remote work environment.
