SAP PI/PO Consultant with CPI
The role of an SAP PI/PO Consultant with CPI is essential in ensuring seamless integration of various business processes within the organization. This consultant plays a key role in managing the integration of SAP systems with thirdparty applications and services using SAP Process Integration (PI) Process Orchestration (PO) and Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The growth and efficiency of business operations greatly rely on the effective implementation and support of these integration solutions. The consultant will work closely with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements design integration solutions and support testing and deployment activities. In addition to technical skills this role demands strong problemsolving abilities as the consultant will be responsible for troubleshooting integration issues and optimizing existing processes. With a focus on delivering highquality solutions the SAP PI/PO Consultant will contribute to improving the organization s operational efficiency and responsiveness to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and implement SAP PI/PO and CPI integration solutions.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders for integration projects.
- Develop integration mappings and scenarios to support data flow between applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in integration workflows and processes.
- Perform testing and validation of integration solutions before deployment.
- Document integration processes and architectures for future reference.
- Work with ABAP developers to create custom adapters where necessary.
- Implement best practices for integration standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with technical teams to manage API security and data governance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production integration scenarios.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for improving integration capabilities.
- Facilitate change management for integrationrelated processes.
- Identify and execute opportunities for process improvement.
- Engage with business leaders to align integration strategy with organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PI/PO and CPI implementations.
- Solid understanding of integration patterns and methodologies.
- Experience with objectoriented programming specifically ABAP.
- Knowledge of XML XSLT and various communication protocols.
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services.
- Proficiency in data transformation and mapping techniques.
- Strong analytical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with version control and deployment processes.
- Good communication skills for interacting with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Certification in SAP PI/PO or related technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies as needed.
