Role Overview
Were seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). This role supports next-gen application development on SAP Business Technology Platform with a focus on cloud-ready architecture and Fiori-centric design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-ready applications using SAP RAP adhering to clean core principles.
- Implement business services with CDS views behavior definitions and managed/unmanaged implementations.
- Integrate developed solutions with Fiori/UI5 front-ends and other BTP services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering testing and deployment.
- Ensure scalability performance and security compliance within the BTP landscape.
- Support debugging and performance tuning across BTP applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in ABAP development with at least 3 year specifically in BTP RAP projects.
- Proficiency in CDS Views BOPF Behavior Definitions OData V4 and Fiori Elements.
- Solid understanding of Clean Core strategy Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model exposure is a plus.
- Hands-on with SAP Business Technology Platform ABAP RESTful programming and Git-based versioning.
- Strong debugging skills unit testing and performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or equivalent.
- SAP certifications in BTP or RAP are an advantage.
