Office of the Lieutenant Governor
Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera serves as the second highest ranking elected or appointed official in the executive branch of the State of Colorado. The Office of the Lt. Governor works closely with the Office of the Governor to ensure the effective implementation of the PolisPrimavera Administrations priorities. The Office of the Lt. Governor leads a broad portfolio of programs including Aerospace and Defense the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs the Colorado Disability Funding Committee and Disability Policy the Office of eHealth Innovation the Office of Saving People Money on Health Care and Serve Colorado.

Job Title: Temporary Research Assistant Lt. Governor Exhibit Project
Location: Office of the Lt. Governor Colorado State Capitol
Duration: May 2025 June 30 2025
Compensation:$25/hour
Job Summary:
Assist in creating a permanent exhibit at the Colorado State Capitol highlighting all Lt. Governors of Colorado. The individual will be responsible for researching the Lt. Governors ensuring accurate information and sourcing highquality images with proper permissions for inclusion in the exhibit.
Key job responsibilities:
Research: Conduct thorough research on each Lt. Governor of Colorado ensuring accurate information regarding basic details like birth and death years and years spent in office.
Image Sourcing: Identify and obtain clear highquality images of each Lt. Governor ensuring that all images have the appropriate permissions for use in a public exhibit.
Information Verification: Verify and confirm the correct spelling of names birth and death dates and other biographical details.
Collaboration: Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders in the Office of the Lt. Governor to ensure the content aligns with the vision for the exhibit.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of sources image permissions and relevant research findings.
Display Planning:Prepare physical display layout estimate budget for the project gather materials and supplies coordinate with required organizations to approve display and present final plans for display.
Term:
The term of this assignment shall begin on May 1 and shall continue until no later than June 30. Either party may terminate this assignment for any reason.
Requested experience
Current graduate student or an individual who has completed a graduate degree with a focus in History or a related field with strong research skills. Archival research experience preferred.
Experience in sourcing and obtaining permissions for images or media.
Detailoriented organized and able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Conditions of Employment
