Job Description

1:1 PartTime Support Staff Needed East Syracuse (NS AT)


A 26yearold nonverbal female is looking for a DSP in the East Syracuse area to assist her with household chores being active in her community and help her with choosing activities to her liking. Her interests include fashion The Disney Channel wrestling doing simple puzzles looking at magazines and dancing.

The ideal candidate has experience and is motivating active and friendly. The ideal candidate must also be willing to provide personal care when needed.


This is a parttime position but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.



Hours and days of work: Flexible hours just not available Wednesday or Thursday.


Starting pay: Starting pay is $18/hour


Location: East Syracuse NY



Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work independently in the persons home and/or community.
  • Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
  • No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
  • New York State Drivers license reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
  • Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
