Your tasks at a glance
- You assist during the preop exams and fill the patients charts accurately.
- You answer patients questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct preoperative and postoperative tests for patients.
- You updatethe appointment system after every patients consultation.
- You confirm by phone postoperative appointments.
- You will be crosstrained as aReceptionist(once the initial training is completed).
A clear view of your assets
- You are comfortable with computers technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant orderly dental assistant pharmacy lab technician sterilization assistant animal health technician assistant etc..
- You are looking for a fastpaced dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multitasking will be an asset.
- You have excellent communication skills you speak English et franais galement(advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our Frenchspeaking patients).
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (start time between 7:15am and 8:00 am).
