Job Description
Leidos is seeking an experienced and highly capable Education Specialist in Northern VA to support a multidisciplinary team executing an evolving and dynamic occupational health and wellness mission.
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of all educationrelated documentation submitted on behalf of dependent children including but not limited to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Section 504 Plans reports from related service providers and psychoeducational evaluation reports.
Conduct case reviews utilizing various medical databases.
Apply relevant expertise to conduct case reviews and to provide Special Needs Education Allowance (SNEA) eligibility recommendations to stakeholders.
Provide briefings on educationrelated topics to a variety of audiences including family members.
Leverage area knowledge and educate stakeholder personnel about educational resources available within a particular geographic location.
Basic Qualifications
Masters Degree in one of the following: School Psychology Special Education Speech/Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated experience supporting one or multiple public school systems
Must be willing to undergo an investigation for a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in DC MD or Northern VA public school systems
Demonstrated subject matter expertise as it relates to the Special Needs Education Allowance (SNEA)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80600.00 $145700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
