JOB Design Engineer
LOCATION Nottinghamshire
TERM Permanent
SALARY
My client manufactures a range of Special Purpose Machinery and are looking to expand their design team by taking on a Design Engineer to work in their office in Newark.
The Design Engineerwill ideally have the following attributes:
- Knowledge/ Experience of Mechanical Design
- Engineering qualification (BEng MEng HND HNC BSc etc. in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Aerospace Engineering or similar
- Excellent 3D CAD skills (Inventor and AutoCAD)
- Be able to work well as part of a team
The Design Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the current engineering team
- Producing 3D designs using CAD software following specific instructions
- Liaising with colleagues on other engineering tasks as required
- Potential to move to a Mechanical Design Engineering role
