Role Overview:
- As the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the Kaseya Data Team you will play a key role in facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) processes aligning crossfunctional teams and ensuring the seamless delivery of datadriven solutions.
- In addition to your ART responsibilities you will lead a small team of Scrum Masters guiding their professional growth and ensuring they excel in driving Agile practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer Agile Program Manager or similar role ideally within a SaaS or datadriven environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of Scrum Masters or Agile practitioners.
- Exceptional facilitation organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to navigate complexities manage crossfunctional dependencies and remove impediments effectively.
- Familiarity with data and analytics concepts and the challenges faced by datadriven teams is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as SAFe RTE SAFe SPC or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Release Train (ART) Facilitation:
- Serve as a servant leader and facilitator for the ART ensuring alignment with the data teams objectives and strategic priorities.
- Plan and facilitate Program Increment (PI) events such as PI Planning ART syncs and retrospectives.
- Manage and mitigate risks dependencies and impediments affecting the ART.
- Drive continuous improvement across the ART by implementing feedback loops and optimizing delivery processes.
Team Leadership:
- Lead mentor and manage a team of Scrum Masters promoting collaboration innovation and best practices in Agile methodologies.
- Foster an environment of trust accountability and team empowerment.
- Provide coaching and support to Scrum Masters helping them resolve teamlevel challenges and enhancing their leadership capabilities.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between the ART stakeholders and leadership to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Promote crossteam collaboration and facilitate communication across business units product and technical teams.
- Partner with Product Management Engineering and other functions to prioritize and deliver highimpact data initiatives.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on ART performance metrics including velocity predictability and business value delivery.
- Use data to identify opportunities for process improvements and align initiatives with business goals.
Agile Advocacy:
- Champion Agile principles and practices across the data team and broader organization.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement learning and adaptability.
