Job Description

What is a PMO Its often used as an acronym for Program Management Office. What is a Senior PMO A highoutput player / coach.

We havent thought of a better name yet so we just have opted to call them PMOs (pronounced pmoes).

Dont let the unconventional title fool you this role is mission critical for the company. Let me explain.

1. A rotational program thats oneofakind.

Weve designed the PMO role to be a rotational program where you build downfunnel sales chops establish product foundations and weave a composite understanding of customer pain. With this youre armed to either:

  • Go fully into selling to our biggest and hardest customers.

  • Or go work on the product itself.

We see this as a perfect instantiation of the handson rotational product manager program that experienced builders startup vets and postMBAs deserve.

2. PMOs are critical in both presale and postsale. So is their leader.

The reason we created this job was because we wanted one person to span the presale and postsale so that the understanding technical customer needs and solution design doesnt get thrown over the wall after the deal is signed. When a customers asks This is great and all but whos going to be actually doing the work our PMOs can answer Youre talking to them!

You will balance supporting clients as a PMO while developing our PMOs and shaping the departments future. This is not to be taken lightly as our customers are top priority and our PMOs are a national treasure.

3. You will earn the right to work on core product.

What happens when you deeply understand customer problems and design solutions in the platform Well you often find a lot of problems gaps and underperforming functionality. Who better to go actually fold back hardearned insights into the design and of the core product We actually go even further and say that this is the only way someone earns the right to work on the product.

What youll do

  • Presale: work with prospects and Doss AEs to perform solutions engineering.

  • Postsale: execute customer onboarding change management sustaining support functions.

  • Identify holes in product surface area and synthesize the durable primitives that we need to build into DossARP.

  • Manage a team of brilliant collaborative high performers crushing it in a firstofits kind role.

What youre good at

  • Working insanely hard.

  • Rigorously detailed about what needs to get done and getting it done.

  • Taking in a bunch of information without any prior context and building a composite understanding of what is going on.

  • Balancing your work load while managing a team of top performers.

Tactically speaking...

  • This role is entirely about internalizing the businesses of our customers trying to model them in Doss and make a call on what we can cant should and shouldnt be able do for them.

    • In a sense this is a profound exercise in empathy. Our objective is to put a mirror in front of our customers and show them that we actually understand them in a way that others dont.

  • This often begins with spelunking through their data! If you love Excel pivot tables and you find data gymnastics to be very enjoyable this job might be for you.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this role is $160k$220k.

  • All compensation packages include equity because we believe employees building Doss deserve ownership. Salary and equity offered will be determined by several factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training.
