1:1 PartTime Support Staff Needed Cazenovia (NS JB)
A 35yearold engaging male is looking for a DSP to assist him with accessing his local community and social interactions. He enjoys the outdoors parks swinging hiking bowling playing games going to libraries coloring puzzles and Disney Movies. Schrek is his favorite. He also likes to eat out at McDonalds.
The ideal candidate must be reliable and creative engaging and active and patient. The ideal candidate must have experience with building social skills.
This is a parttime position but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.
Hours and days of work: 6 hours Available Monday Tuesday or Wednesday 2pm8pm (would split into 2 hours a day)
Starting pay: Starting pay is $18.00/hour
Location: Cazenovia NY
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the persons home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Drivers license reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
