Warehouse Lead
Role Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager this leadership role is responsible for all fulfillment center operations including the teams mentorship and the complete inventory and product distribution cycle. The Warehouse Lead directs the daily activities of a highvolume pick manufacturing center. Key responsibilities include planning and executing weekly volume and managing the daytoday operation of the facilitys staffing ensuring inventory accuracy Quality Control coaching and all personnelrelated issues.
Key Results Areas
Responsible for all product life cycles including receiving shipping storing and distributing products and materials within the manufacturing center
Implement bestinclass working and safety procedures and physical layout for the entire facility
Scale the warehouse team by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees
Fulfill pickpack orders efficiently and safely
Maintain the security of the warehouse location
Maintain the fixture storage area and the cleanliness of the space
Create and maintain excellent metrics and tracking of incidents
Ensure adequate staffing equipment and space utilization to fulfill production goals during peak holiday weeks as well as nonpeak periods
Manage and develop the team to optimize productivity and promote growth
Work closely with Quality Assurance teams to ensure we are executing to the highest possible standards for our customers
Work with other managers to continuously improve policy procedures practices and training
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of reports regarding daily and weekly operations
Provide excellent service to all internal and external customers
Skills & Requirements
Must have 25 years of experience working in a fastpaced warehouse/production logistics/ highvolume pick pack production or manufacturing environment
Experience managing a team of at least 10 employees
Ability to use KPIs and data to manage and improve processes
Strong verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong customer orientation and problemsolving skills including 5W or 8D root cause analysis preferred
Good working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
Ability to work effectively in a highpressure environment
The potential for prolonged standing walking squatting and bending
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
