Description
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for a General Manager to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall mining operations to ensure production targets and safety standards are met
- Manage budgets cost control and financial performance of the mine
- Lead and coordinate crossfunctional teams including engineering maintenance and processing
- Ensure compliance with all legal environmental and health and safety regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships with communities contractors and regulatory bodies
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company objectives
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BSc Degree/BTech Degree in Mining Engineering
- Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
- 10 15 years experience in the mining industry
- 5 years experience in a Management Role.
- Masters Degree in Mining Engineering (Advantageous)
- MBA/MBL (Advantageous)
