We are currently seeking a Summer Student HR Assistant
Job Type:Summer Student
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Summer Student for the HR Assistant role to join our team working under the supervision of the Manager of People & Culture. This role is essential in supporting our People and Culture team in training and coordination activities.
Must have excellent communication skills and be a good problem solver as you will be dealing directly with staff in all areas of our business whether on the phone email or in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate training sessions in collaboration with the People and Culture team.
- Manage scheduling logistics and communication for training initiatives.
- Support special projects in areas such as recruitment retention or performance programs
- General administrative support: Perform general office duties such as filing data entry organization.
- Communication working in Word or Excel creating/updating documents with accuracy
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by effectively communicating with team members.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in Post Secondary Education with an interest in Human Resources.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
