Job Description
Introduction
Seeking junior seafreight controller to start 1 May for a JHB based company.
We are looking for a well spoken ambitious individual with 3 yrs experience in dealing with shipping lines payment of charges release processes and documents and setting up of logistics and tracking. Interpersonal skills are essential for this position as well as attention to detail.
Shipshape or similar clearing software experience would be beneficial.

Duties & Responsibilities
Forwarding documentation
Requesting arrival notifications
Shipping line charges
Setting up logistics/ transport instructions
Release processes
Tracking; updating clients
Assistance with stops all admin processes around documentation
Assistant to the forwarding manager
Desired Experience & Qualification
3 years experience in forwarding
NQF3 or 4 in Forwarding/Clearing recommended
Shipshape/ Easyclear or similar software package would be beneficial
Package & Remuneration
R15000 negotiable depending on expreience
