Job Description
Upskills provides expert financial software consulting to investment banks and leading financial institutions in Asia Pacific Middle East and Europe. We are seeking a highly motivated Datamart Reporting Consultant to work on a customer facing role to drive one of our clients Murex activities and projects with key responsibilities given as below:
- Gather requirements impact analysis development and support for change requests projects and new product development.
- Follow strictly to project processes.
- Provide production support and participate in implementation projects in Murex Datamart/ Interface Streams.
- Develop expertise and participate in the build of Murex Interface/ Reporting solutions.
- Develop Trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex to receive trade and other data feeds process them save into the system and send acknowledgement.
- Use a combination of MxML Exchange MxOpenConnect Murex APIs and Datamart to successfully deliver such solutions.
- Provide technical support to customers ensuring successful follow up of issues from notification to resolution and validation.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end configuration management packages such as Install Deploy and Test Murex Packaged interfaces like MDIT (market data interface tool) Markitwire BSMT and MarkitCredit to receive live and end-of-day data from external providers like Bloomberg Reuters Markit etc...
- Integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to client.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors Degree preferably from Computer Engineering Financial Engineering Data Science or relevant discipline.
- Min 2-5 years of Murex experience on Datamart and Interface Datamart - Reports Development Batch of Feeders/ extractions OR
Interface - MxML Interface Workflow. - Fresh Grads are very welcome to apply.
- Experience in build configuration and testing of Reports/ Interface.
- Good understanding of Murex DataModel Dynamic Tables and Viewers.
- Hands-on experience with Murex MxML Exchange.
- Solid programming skill with Java (Apache Camel).
- Familiar with SQL XML Linux Unix system commands and Shell Scripting.
- Excellent communication skills able to handle multiple projects priorities and manage business expectations.
- Must be customer driven have the ability to work within a team environment and be focused on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong and demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.

Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Financial Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
