We are looking for a Strategic Communications Coordinator to develop and implement effective communication strategies that engage the communities we serve. This role will involve creating compelling content managing project websites and designing visuals that support engineering projects. You will work closely with engineers clients and stakeholders to ensure that our messaging is clear engaging and accessible.
Develop and execute strategic communication plans for engineering projects to ensure clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
Design graphics infographics and outreach materials that effectively translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Manage and update digital platforms including project websites community engagement tools and social media channels.
Lead public engagement efforts such as presentations open houses and public meetings in collaboration with engineers and project managers.
Create content for newsletters social media reports and press releases to communicate project milestones and updates.
Ensure brand consistency and visual alignment across all communications and marketing materials.
Monitor the effectiveness of communication efforts through engagement metrics and feedback adjusting strategies as necessary.
Stay updated on trends in strategic communications visual design and best practices in public engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) for designing marketing and communication materials.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word PowerPoint and SharePoint.
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical information into accessible content.
Experience managing and maintaining websites and digital platforms including content management systems (CMS) WordPress and social media channels.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with engineers clients and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Experience with public engagement strategies and community outreach is a plus.
