Job Description

JOB DEFINITION:

The Facilities Manager to support our Director of Facilities in overseeing daytoday operations vendor coordination and project management. This is a handson role ideal for someone with deep experience in facilities management and a proactive solutionsoriented mindset.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree or 57 years experience.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

5 years of experience in facilities management or a related field.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must own a basic set of tools and be comfortable with handson work
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude; experience with CMMS or work order management systems preferred Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Detailoriented and proactive with a strong sense of accountability
  • Must have knowledge of basic construction HVAC plumbing and electrical
  • Experience working with external contractors and vendors
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (OSHA etc.
  • Background in construction HVAC plumbing or electrical is a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assist in assigning and managing work orders to ensure timely completion
  2. Completing highlevel work order requests (Hands on work) and escalate issues as needed
  3. Coordinate and attend vendor walkthroughs and site visits
  4. Support vendor relationships including onboarding and performance followups
  5. Keep the project board current with active initiatives and deadlines
  6. Ensure work orders and maintenance logs are up to date and welldocumented
  7. Attend meetings and provide updates on facilities operations and projects
  8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities
  9. Conduct monthly maintenance inspections of three sites
  10. Perform biweekly supply list walkthroughs of three sites to ensure inventory and readiness
  11. Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals
  12. Encourage quality improvement processes and provide consistent resources for QI and professional development
  13. Ability to cultivate a culture of inclusion for all employees that respects their individual strengths views and experiences. A Culture that makes better decisions drives innovation and delivers better business results.
  14. Adherence to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Demonstrate a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following established safety guidelines.

  16. Other duties as assigned.
