Job Description
Were looking for a highly organized and detailoriented Display Design Drafter to join our Display Architect Merchandising team. In this role youll be responsible for designing strategic outdoor displays at dealer locations across North America that help homeowners envision their dream outdoor spacewhile staying true to the TechoBloc brand aesthetic.
Your daytoday will involve translating design objectives into functional and visually compelling outdoor displays coordinating with internal teams sales reps landscape contractors and dealers to ensure flawless . If you thrive on checklists love seeing a plan come together and have a sharp eye for detail and layout this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design outdoor merchandising displays that showcase TechoBloc products in inspiring and easytonavigate ways to support homeowner product selection.
- Create technical drawings and layout plans tailored to the sites specs (dimensions grading flow).
- Ensure every display aligns with TechoBlocs design standards and brand aesthetic.
- Collaborate with Sales and dealers to understand merchandising priorities project needs and installation timelines.
- Coordinate with landscape contractors to obtain quotes and installation logistics.
- Coordinate with partnering teams (ex: Merchandising & Logistics) for shipping the landscape products required for each project.
- Manage each project within its allocated merchandising budget ensuring costeffective yet impactful results.
- Support the development of new standard display templates to improve efficiency and elevate dealer showrooms.
Qualifications :
Who you are
- A drafter or designer with a degree in landscape architecture design or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience in design and project coordination ideally in a clientfacing or merchandising role.
- A natural plannerorganized meticulous and motivated by crossing tasks off your list.
- Experience with Project management Software: Teamwork Monday etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and functional knowledge of SketchUp. 3D rendering software is an asset.
- Collaborative and proactive with strong communication skills (bilingualism in French/English to support clients across North America).
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and adapting to shifting timelines or feedback.
- Passionate about outdoor design and excited to contribute to the customer journey through merchandising.
