Thought Leadership
Shape and communicate a clear creative vision for both the design team and the broader organization.
Set high standards for design quality and define the processes needed to achieve the vision.
Support the development of brand identity and experience principles ensuring they are effectively applied across all design work.
Guide Design Leads in managing their teams to deliver endtoend improvements in customer experience across all touchpoints.
Serve as the main representative of design within and outside the organization advocating for the team sharing its successes and defending its role in the face of internal barriers or bureaucracy.
Strategic Planning
Provide strategic input to leadership on product and experience design.
Oversee the allocation and management of resources tools team capabilities and budget to ensure design initiatives are wellsupported.
Develop and implement a scalable design operating model that aligns with the banks broader goals.
Functional Management
Define team structures roles tools and operational workflows for the design function.
Manage the procurement of relevant design tools and services.
Take ownership of the design team s budget and ensure efficient resource usage.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong partnerships with other departments and business units to ensure alignment between design efforts and strategic goals.
Translate strategic plans into actionable design initiatives and oversee their implementation.
Talent Development
Attract engage and retain top design talent across all levels to support a highperformance culture.
Provide coaching and development support to help team members identify skill gaps and grow professionally.
Design appealing and clear career pathways within the design function.
Build design capabilities in line with the realities of the local labor market
Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Design HumanCentered Design (HCD) or Behavioral/Social Science
At least 10 years of relevant experience in the financial sector with more than 8 years in team management.
Extensive background in managing stakeholders and designing customer journeys.
Experience in handling largescale projects across various domains.
Strong expertise in project management and resolving workplace conflicts.
Indepth knowledge and experience in design.
