Job Description
Our client a major bank in New York City is looking for Windows Engineer who has strong M365 Active Directory and Messaging
This is hybrid commute 2 days per week in the office (Midtown Manhattan).
** Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in US NO H1 Visa support for this role
Salary range 140155K plus around 1015 bonus plus great benefits package.
Candidate must have a strong background in M365 Active Directory and Messaging. The ideal candidate will possess indepth knowledge of Exchange Windows Active Directory Teams and other Microsoft core technologies plus a working knowledge of Proofpoint or similar products. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain Windows Server infrastructure specifically focusing on M365 and Active Directory.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams on variety of projects
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to M365 Active Directory Exchange Proofpoint and Teams.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in project design sessions products and vendor selections capacity planning
- Conduct performance monitoring tuning and reporting to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Windows and other infrastructure.
- Participate in oncall rotation
- Be able to communicate effectively to both technical and nontechnical teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience (Financial industry preferred).
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
- Proven experience as a Windows Engineer with a focus on M365 and Active Directory.
- Strong knowledge of Exchange and Teams and other messaging platforms
- Experience with Proofpoint or similar products
- Extensive experience with ITIL based IT Service Management procedures (ServiceNow preferred platform)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with system upgrades patch management and capacity planning.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Expertise with VMware Horizon Citrix XenApp or AVD is a plus
