Job Description:
As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for leading a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are met. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to create menus and recipes train and supervise junior chefs and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a specific section of the kitchen such as the grill saut or pastry stations On Board Cruise Ship
Prepare and cook highquality dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
Train and supervise junior chefs ensuring they follow proper food safety and preparation techniques
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen adhering to all sanitation and hygiene standards
Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop new menus and recipes
Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory management
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served on time and to the highest standards
Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen
Follow all company policies and procedures including those related to safety and sanitation
Continuously strive to improve culinary skills and knowledge through selfstudy and training opportunities
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a highvolume kitchen preferably in a cruise ship or luxury hotel setting
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Creativity and passion for food and cooking
Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
Fluent in English additional languages are a plus
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
