Job Description
Industry: Pharma
Location: Malta
Basis: Full time
Remuneration: Salary Benefits
Main Duties:
- Compare real costs to standard costs to ensure accuracy and identify costsaving opportunities
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Standard Cost System
- Help control stock levels and optimise efficiencies in inventory management
- Work closely with the Plant Manager and operations teams to meet budgeting goals and improve overall efficiency
- Establish and refine systems to track monthly operational manufacturing costs
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production costs both direct and indirect
- Measure plant utilisation and idle capacity to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to assess and establish the real production cost for new product launches
What skills do you need
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cost management accounting
- A Level 6 certification in accountancy or in possession of an MBA
- Being conversant with Microsoft Office software particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Able to work in a team environment
- Motivated and proactive person able to take responsibilities and results oriented
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
