We have a client in Oak Grove Oregon that is in need of a Technical Writer to handle writing and updating manuals for their industrial products. If you or any of your colleagues are interested please click Apply Now.
In this role you will be reading blueprints and writing corresponding formatted manuals. This will involve some related software including Microsoft Office and an understanding of interpretign machinery blueprints.
You will need to research current manuals digest and understand existing directions for their machinery and make corresponding changes and additions to properly format them to their current manual standards.
This involves familiarity with technical writing hydraulics pneumatics and electrical processes in order to properly write the descriptions.
This role is inoffice at their Oak Grove location. This position is offered on a Temporary basis reflecting their needs with an estimated contract period ranging 3 6 months.
Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in technical writing
- Associates degree preferred
- Proficiency understanding machinery
- Technical background is ideal with an aptitude for industrial machines
Pay: $30 $40 / hr depending on Experience and Qualifications
