Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Business Logistics or a related field preferred.
  • 23 years of experience working with vehicle telematics GPS or fleet technology systems; experience with Zonar is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel; data analysis/reporting skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with a customerservice focus; ability to explain technical information clearly to nontechnical users.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50 across North America for site support and training.

National Express LLC is seeking a Vehicle Technology Support Specialist to assist in the administration support and optimization of vehiclebased technology systems across our North American fleet. This role is key to ensuring operational excellence by supporting GPS telematics and compliance systems (e.g. Zonar) across 200 company locations. The ideal candidate is techsavvy detailoriented and has a strong service mindset to support field teams and ensure technology is properly installed used and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daytoday management of vehicle technology systems including unit tracking activations/deactivations data integrity and reporting.
  • Act as a firstline support resource for CSCs (Customer Service Centers) fleet teams and operations staff regarding issues with vehicle technology systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve hardware/software issues and support ongoing maintenance.
  • Help support company with invoice reconciliations for various vendors.
  • Provide timely support to CSCs regarding parent application offerings (ex. BusZone).
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry and updates of device inventory and system information within internal platforms and vendor portals.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of sites into the vehicle technology ecosystem for acquisitions startups and site closures.
  • Monitor system reports for anomalies or issues and escalate or address them as needed.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing usage metrics identifying trends and helping implement improvements to boost technology adoption and effectiveness.
  • Support training efforts for internal teams and drivers on the use of vehicle technology tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Vehicle Technology to implement special projects pilot programs and system enhancements.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of procedures common issues and troubleshooting guides.
  • Other duties as assigned.
