Autism Centre Manager Glamorgan House Neath

This advert is for one full time Autism Centre manager based at Glamorgan House Neath.

The salary for this position is33295..97 dependent on experience

We support people to understand their autism diagnosis and how this may impact on their lives and those around them.

Our services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings.

Exciting opportunity to lead our Neath Autism Centre through a period of transformation. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about high quality autism provision and providing meaningful opportunities for people we support enabling them to achieve positive outcomes.

Youll be resilient supportive and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people.

The role includes:

  • Lead and monitor all aspects of the management of the designated adult learner
  • Support services including development and strategy; growing the number and range of services within centres and in the community
  • Support Team Leaders in the effective management and quality of all services and in the compliance with NAS ethos policies and procedures.
  • Project manage adult learner support service developments within centres and in the community
  • Ensure the service users are receiving the highest standards of professional support
  • Experiencing life opportunities helping to promote growth and independence as
  • Identified in PCP plan and approaches

Possession of a driving licence (minimum one year)is desirable

We are a specialised autism centre whom offer unique bespoke service s and support to a variety of people with autism learning disabilities and mental health concerns. We offer a mixture of service all of which can be adapted to meet the persons assessed needs and preferences in a personal centred manner.

To protect our autistic adults all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
