JOB DESCRIPTION
Sacred Heart Elementary is seeking a faithfilled Grade 2 Teacher for the upcoming school year. This is a oneyear position with the potential to roll into a continuing contract for theschool year.
We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a strong commitment to the Catholic faith who embraces the Augustinian values of TRUTH UNITY and LOVE creating a classroom guided by the search for truth rooted in community and animated by love. Applicants must be competent in the BC curriculum and eager to contribute to a collaborative caring school environment.
A key part of this role involves preparing students to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion for the first time. The successful candidate will be someone who can journey with students and families through this sacred and joyful time in their faith formation.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of young learners committed to building up the next generation and engaged in ongoing professional growth.
