Are you an organized detailoriented professional with a passion for supporting people and processes The City of Chino Hills isseeking a dynamic Human Resources Technician to provide vital technical and administrative support across a range of Human Resources programs. From recruitment and employee onboarding to records management and internal communications this role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment values confidentiality and takes initiative. Under general supervision youll play a key role in helping our Human Resources division operate efficiently and effectively while serving as a knowledgeable and approachable resource to employees across the City.

A Glimpse of Our Total Compensation and Benefits:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Three 3 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in a Human Resources office which includes maintaining confidential records and interpreting rules polices and memorandum of understanding.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized Human Resources courses or training.

Prospective employees who are selected for employment must successfully complete a medical examination and background check which is paid for by the City. The background check will include being LiveScan fingerprinted through the Department of Justice.

All original appointments who have never held active status in a classification will be required to serve a 26pay period probationary period (approximately one year). If a current employee who has held active status is selected it will be considered a promotional appointment and they will be required to serve a 13pay period probationary period (approximately six months).
