You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Reliability Engineer is a key member of the Reliability Engineering team and is responsible for design implementation and deployment and maintenance of the site reliability process and systems. Reporting to the Reliability Team Leader the Senior Reliability Engineer works both independently as well as directing project work for the site Reliability Engineers. In addition the Senior Reliability Engineer must work with the Maintenance Leaders Maintenance Technicians Planners Stores Personnel and Production Teams to meet the operational objectives of the site.
The Senior Reliability Engineer is responsible for researching new tools and technologies and ways to solve problems more efficiently; conducting and executing maintenance systems with a focus on preventative predictive and conditionsbased monitoring including root cause failure analysis failure mode analysis along with critical equipment assessments managing the results of condition monitoring functions; life cycle asset management and making decisions on issues related to equipment reliability and maintenance cost reduction and commercial availability; supporting capital projects by participating in setting equipment fitness for use criteria and specifications to optimize equipment/system reliability and lift cycle costs; assisting in training/coaching of field personnel in startup / operations troubleshooting repairs and preventative maintenance for equipment; assisting departments with equipment change overs and set centerlines; identifying improvement opportunities and work with planners and coordinators to advance maintenance workflow and highlight prioritized jobs requiring completion; identifying opportunities to improve preventative maintenance and create efficiencies of model work order for assets; communicating across all levels of facility personnel to build collaboration and align the organization to prioritized reliability opportunities; working with maintenance and site management to develop and track KPIs; and developing technical documentation with specific guidelines for installation setup and calibration of various equipment.
Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Industrial Engineering or a related field and 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment that includes 2 years of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and direct tissue manufacturing experience.
