YOUTH THERAPIST
This position has the potential to be either 12month or 10month position. The 10month option works approximately midAugust through midJune.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling and North Dakota license as a LMSW or LAPC. A clinical license (North Dakota) as a LCSW or LPCC is preferred. Experience working with children and victims of violence preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license have access to personal transportation and be willing to travel to local and county schools.
COMPENSATION: Salary range for LMSW LAPC/LPC or LMFT is $. Clinical license LCSW or LPCC salary range is $53738$89563. A generous leave package including sick leave annual leave and personal leave;11 paid holidays 9 floating holidays for a 10month position); employer funded training in evidencebased therapies such as EMDR and CPT and weekly clinical supervision from a certified clinical supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual and Group Therapy
- Provide evidencebased individual and group therapy to youth ages 218 who have experienced domestic violencedating violence sexual /abuse stalking and/or bullying.
- Followup with caregiverswhose children are on CVICs therapy waitlists to arrange for services.
- Provide individual therapy to youth in conjunction with their caregiver at CVICs main office and shelter.
- Provide individual therapy to youth at their school in the City of Grand Forks and rural schools in Grand Forks County.
- Travelto and from schools in the City of Grand Forks and rural Grand Forks County schools is required.
- Work with youth in conjunction with their caregiver to develop individualized treatment plans based on clients needs andgoals using evidence based therapeutic approaches to address client concerns.
- Obtain training in providing distance counseling and provide individual therapy to victims via telehealth when needed.
- Facilitate group therapy at CVIC or area schools in the City of Grand Forks and rural schools.
Individual Advocacy and Referrals
- Provide information and parenting support to caregivers whose youth have experienced violence.
- Become knowledgeable of other related agencies and services and provide youth victims and their nonabusing caregiverswith appropriate referral information and support in accessing safety net services.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to assist with referrals to our services helping youth and their families overcome barriers to receiving services.
Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate complete and timely records of all contacts with youth clients nonabusing caregivers and other agenciesaccording to established procedures.
- Distribute and collect surveys from youth participating in individual and group therapy and their caregivers according toestablished procedures.
- Maintain and engage in necessary billingrelated documentation and procedures including working with insurance agenciespartner agencies and clients to ensure appropriate action is taken in those areas.
Collaboration
- Participate on agency and community committees as assigned.
- Collaborate with city and rural schools in setting up individual and group services for youth at the schools providing education and support to nonabusing caregivers and staff as needed.
- Provide support at prevention and education presentations to youth in Grand Forks County as needed.
