Position Purpose:
As aSenior Analyst in Labor Engineering you will significantly influence instore operations and drive largescale visible improvements to both associate and customer experiences while optimizingbillions of dollarsin payroll expenses.
Your primary objective is todesign build and maintain labor modelsfor our store departments. How do we determine the optimal staffing levels for cashiers by time of day to expedite customer checkouts How can we seamlessly integrate the impact of emerging technologies likecomputer vision How do we engineer models to support specialized areas such asPro and Kitchen Design These are just a few of the questions youll tackle through a combination ofinperson studiesanddata analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Teams of Analysts and other associates
- Perform data gathering tasks synthesis develop solutions project/strategy planning and data utilization
- Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors
- Build skills and knowledge including selfdevelopment team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
- Deliver presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to Store Operations Process Manager or Store Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers)
- No associates report to this role on a permanent basis but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring firing or disciplinary action).
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10 of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
13 years of experience
Engineering/Economics or similar preferred
Strong data savviness / Being comfortable with in depth data analysis and manipulation.
Microsoft Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables V Lookup etc.
Intermediate experience in SQL
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
