This position provides information and assistance to current and prospective students across all areas of student enrollment from admissions through graduation. Support is delivered in person by phone and electronically (email text and chat). The employee will rotate between the Call Center and inperson services and must be flexible to work at different campus locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Support (English & Spanish):
Communicate with students in both English and Spanish regarding all aspects of enrollment services. This includes assisting with admissions class registration transcript requests account reviews financial aid and graduation requirements.
Call Center & InPerson Services:
Provide frontline support primarily through the Enrollment Services Call Center. Interact with students via phone email text chat video calls and inperson to address questions and resolve issues.
Technology Guidance:
Educate students on using online tools such as the student portal email FAFSA application Navigate and the PPSC website. Assist students with completing tasks like applying for admission checking financial aid status and managing their student accounts.
Financial Aid Assistance:
Guide students through the financial aid processincluding applying for aid understanding award notifications and maintaining eligibility. Review financial aid documents for accuracy and ensure proper documentation in Banner. Help determine when additional documentation is required based on federal and state guidelines.
Live Chat Support:
Act as the primary content writer for the colleges chatbot and live chat platforms. Collaborate with colleagues and departments to keep responses accurate and up to date.
Student Records & Documentation:
Process student records daily including add/drop forms transcript requests selective service holds and withdrawal forms. Ensure compliance with college and departmental policies using the Banner system.
Orientation & Outreach:
Participate in New Student Orientation to explain financial aid processes and help new students complete key enrollment steps.
Campus Flexibility:
Serve as backup for the Centennial Campus front counter. Must be adaptable and willing to support multiple campus locations as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience Only:
Three 3 years of clerical experience as the primary function and proficient with reading and writing in the Spanish language. Successful candidate must have strong problem solving interpersonal communication critical thinking and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting targeted deadlines. Computer literacy and attention to detail(ability to check for typographical grammatical and spelling errors etc. is a must. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this position. Willingness to learn new skills as projects demand. Commitment to creating an inclusive learning & work environment and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students families faculty and staff of diverse backgrounds.Do not use See Resume statements on application; your application must be completed in detail and clearly document your relevant work experience. Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to three 3 years. College university or noncorrespondence business school course work from an accredited institutions may substitute for the clerical experience as listed above on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications: Include prior experience working in a higher education setting or in a call center environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clerical responsibilities and be comfortable working in a fastpaced studentcentered customer service and data entry environment. A demonstrated history of providing quality customer service to a diverse range of individuals is essential. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook. The candidate should also have experience handling conflict resolution using negotiation skills and applying effective problemsolving methods to address concerns at the lowest possible level. Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly as part of a team are highly valued.Must have the ability to handle lengthy phone calls while relaying a professional attitude under all working circumstances.Appeal Rights:
