Our client is a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Take overall responsibility for the corporation s legal compliance and regulatory matters.
Provide legal strategic advice to the Board of Directors regarding investment business and production activities.
Lead the legal department including team management and task delegation.
Develop and maintain the internal policy and legal documentation system.
Monitor business operations to ensure full legal compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
Review and oversee the management of contracts and legal documentation.
Recommend legal actions and manage disputes or litigation matters.
Act as the corporate representative in dealings with government and legal authorities.
Keep the company informed on relevant legal updates and changes.
Handle additional legal assignments as directed by the Board of Management.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree or higher in Law or a related discipline (Candidates with a legal practice certificate are preferred).
Minimum of 3 years working in a similar legal role ideally in export or international trading companies.
Strong foundation in law and business regulations; knowledgeable in international trade law.
Excellent interpersonal negotiation and presentation abilities; selfdriven and able to perform under pressure.
Capable of conducting legal research and analyzing regulatory frameworks in key markets such as the U.S. Europe and select Asian countries.
Proficiency in English across listening speaking reading and writing.
