- To lead the technical definition of the validation plan for the Energy Efficiency Range Performance and HVAC requirements of the vehicle following the program s DVP and VTS guidance
- To allocate the testing activities for the mentioned attributes deciding if the activity can be performed in House or needs to be outsourced.
- In case that the activity needs to be outsourced:
- To lead the contact with the external testing suppliers aiming for an agreement about cost and time that matches the program requirements.
- To track and support the testing performance coordinating with the Program Quality managers and any other stakeholder to provide the support required to keep the testing activity in expected time and form
- In case that the activity can be performed in House:
- To make sure that the in House resources (equipment facilities manpower) will be available for the planned testing date.
- To coordinate his team of Testing Lead Engineers and any other required support to ensure the as per agreed testing standards in the expected time frame.
- For any of the 2 cases (inHouse or outsourced testing):
- To analyze the test reports and give assessment
- To identify any issue out of the testing and trigger the Problem Solving process through JIRA
- To track the status of all JIRA issues
- To provide a technical risk assessment in case that the issue cannot be solved and a deviation needs to be raised.
- To systematically increase the InHouse testing capabilities regarding the mentioned attributes:
- Expanding the internal equipment and facilities.
- Organizing the technical training needed for the team to perform and master the testing.
- Cooperating with Attribute department for the definition and upgrade of testing standards
- Ensuring a robust ramp up on the operation of the new implemented facilities
- Reinforcing the internal collaboration with CTF and EEQ teams increasing the testing possibilities
